Cracked magnets on hydraulic filters......??

In 2005 I bought filters from dealer for my L3130 and both new hydraulic filters had broken magnets. Didn't find out until I had removed old filter. Had intended to remove old filter and replace with new on the fly. Spilled a gallon or two of oil. Contacted dealer and he said he would exchange them and replace the oil that spilled. He was true to his word. Now, I always check the new filters first...
