I haven't run the mower much in the last couple months since the grass isn't growing as quick. I fired it up yesterday to make sure it kept lubricated and whatnot. It fired up but didn't want to keep running at the typical idle position so it died several times. Once it was warm, I tried to engage the deck which caused it to stall. I had to do slowly engage the deck several times before it would run without dying. After idling for a couple more minutes I could engage/disengage as I wanted. However, with the deck running it wanted to stall when I tried to move.

It acts like it doesn't have as much power as it did with the blown gasket. Do I need to adjust the carb for the new improoved compression? I'm not sure what else to do other than wait up to 10 minutes prior to mowing. I could start within 10 seconds before the rebuild!
