I wish that I had hired you to find me something when I was shopping just 12 months ago. This is the third or fourth clean tractor that you have posted about, all that I could ever find was either overpriced, in worse shape than the one I was replacing,... or both.

Most of what you post about is a little smaller than what I have, but for the $8000 price difference it would have been worth it. The best deal that I found was a 2004 L3400 with 1000 hours and he wouldn't come below 13K... and I think I p***ed him off because it disappeared from Craigslist before I got home.
It's all about timing.. I woke up a few days ago and checked craigslist farm and garden like I normally do, a guy had a like new American Honda powered log splitter for sale, nice rugged 36inch wood unit he was moving and needed to get rid of it, $500. I called him at 7:05am and someone had called 2 minutes before me and was on there way.. You never know.. I could have sold that in a week for $1400..
When I was shopping for a logging winch about 15 years ago they were as scarce as hen's teeth. I subscribed to Uncle Henry's (Back when everything came out on Thursday AM.)
I would get online at about 4:00 the day it came out and peruse the ads. I was working in Gorham NH but when I saw an ad for a winch I was halfway to Bowdoinham before the sun came up.
