Very nice Eddie. It looks great.
I sure hope you get a chance to rest a little bit now. You sure have earned it.

Eddie, congrats to you and your beautiful wife! And to finishing your awesome pagoda. How many times did you have to climb that ladder?

Thank you. We where working on last minutes things until ten o'clock the night before the wedding, and then that morning. I took a shower 30 minutes before the ceremony was to begin and got to the gazebo with five minutes to spare!!! LOL

After it's all said and done, it all came together and our wedding turned out just perfect.

Congratulations Karen and Eddie. The pictures with the blue sky and water really came out nice. The onion dome cupola gazebo by the lake is definitely an unique attraction for a wedding venue. I can see wedding themes ranging from Russian to Spanish to Roman to Hindu to Indian to Oriental to Gothic to Middle Eastern to Dutch to Indonesian to German to Czech to Austria to Italian and everything in-between! It does add an international flare to a Texas Wedding!

Congratulations to you and your beautiful bride! What a gorgeous setting for the wedding. I love how those planters came out, "floating" out there.

What a beautiful wedding location. I am betting though, that over time sitting in the gazebo with your bride having your morning java and sunsets watching the birds in the water will challenge the wedding for the "favourite gazebo moment."

Thank you everyone. The two most common comments that we received about the gazebo is that you have to see it in person, and that we really need to rent it out to others to get married there.

While building the gazebo, I also built a zip line for the party after the wedding. While we thought it would be fun, we didn't realize how much fun it would be!!!! I went on it several times and enjoyed myself, but I also enjoyed seeing everyone else go on it too. That became the main focus of entertainment. Seeing how far somebody would go, and sharing in their enjoyment of going on it. There line is 500 feet long, but when subtracting the distance from the tree to the platform, and how far you go until you hit water, it's closer to a 300 foot run if you stay on it as far as you can. Most people let go after a hundred feet or so, when they where still up high enough to get a good splash!!! A few did back flips.

More then ever, I'm so happy that I dug the pond. It's use and enjoyment has proven to be priceless!!!!! :)

Lots of man hours but looks so worth all that time! Zip lining sounds like a fun way to start the morning. Sure makes a splash.
