Creative Uses For Wood Splitter. (?)

I've already put the idea to use to fix a bent leg on my 3ph splitter. With the splitter on the tractor, I removed the wedge and rigged a temporary support and extension for the ram. Took the bent leg off and carefully bent it back. Maybe 15 minutes from start to finish.

I would really like to see what sort of devices you have made to replace the wedge when using it as a press.

Jokes aside this post is very enlightening. I won't ever look at the splitter the same way again. My wedge is removable so I could make other attachments to do stuff, brilliant...!

I seem to use mine for emptying beer cans. I always seem to end up with a bunch of empty cans beside the splitter once the wood is split. I never thought of using it as a press, I was looking for a way to straighten my pallet forks.
