Since I use one of my credit cards pretty heavily for business, I get the security calls every couple of weeks. If you want to have fun, try what I did earlier this week. (not) When I got the security verification call from Bank of America, I told them "Wow, I'd lost that card almost 2 months ago; I was wondering what happened to it."
Gees, the guy on the other end was so excited that I like to never got to convince him that I was kidding! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Holy cow! I think the callers must get paid a bonus for finding bogus charges. The guy was really disappointed that I had only made a joke. This was the same guy who had called me the previous couple of times, but I'm sure he calls so many people that he didn't remember me.
Anyway, I do thank them every time they call. I use credit cards for all but the smallest purchases when online or travelling. On eBay, if I can't pay by credit card, I don't buy. The security of being able to deny a charge is very valuable.
