LOL, I still have a chunk that shows yellow paint from the center line.
That was when they used real paint and not water color.
The stuff I have been getting it like noting bigger than an inch or two. Some of the older stuff had hunks the size of your hand or bigger.

They don't seem to have many takers for the spoil from the sweeper trucks that clean up some of the paved valleys on otherwise dirt roads around here.

But for mucky trails it's great as around here it contains a lot of salt from icy winters.
That salt prevents growth of vegetation, however if the environment police got wind of it there could be trouble.

The asphalt itself is full of oil, that would be worse for the environment than salt. Luckily this stuff is not on the radar around here.

Around here most all of the roads are now paved, even in the county, cant remember when I have actually seen a road grader.......

Well you sir live in civilized society!

Every county has a grader here to hit the county roads!

Yea maybe so, but I am quite sure you would NEVER be able to get a county worker to do anything for you on your private property, it takes 5-6 of them to do anything on public roads, or even if they are getting coffee at the local gas station

Nearly all are paved here too. Some townships are talking about going back to gravel because there is no money for repaving.

There some areas I wish the roads were gravel. They could at least grade them smooth. The asphalt is so deteriorated and road so rough you about have to go the same speed as a dirt road, and usually dirt is smoother ride than these I'm talking about.

I put in request for the county to cut down a large, decaying tree that is on road ROW. they responded it was on my property and couldn't, even though it is not on my property. I don't own to center of road, state took all that when the property was subdivided.

Most roads here are paved, but the one beside me is still gravel, and a grader comes thru periodically.
