Ok , I was just putting the seat up because I wasn’t putting the tractor away tonight as the rain started and somehow the wire got caught and the switch got yanked out of the seat. Nothing really appears terribly damaged but I can’t figure out how that switch was actually afixed inside the seat.
There is a minor plastic damage to the actual switch.
I’m assuming that switch is switching the negative in the safety system? Am I correct in assuming that? I was going to get the meter out and check it to see if it had a reading between that wire and the ground system but it’s raining pretty hard right now.
I would prefer not to cut the wires to and tie them together to bypass the switch. I’d rather leave the electrical system intact if I can, but I doubt I can find it new switch from Bobcat.
Does anybody have a good trick to use something as a jumper across the two terminals inside the connector? If it’s not going to sort out electrically to the ground, then I’m probably good with just using a piece of 12 to wire but I didn’t know for sure as I’m sitting here thinking about it if it’s a hotwire.

Does anybody have a part number for that switch?

Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me
