CT335 won't deliver fuel to injectors - fixed

First, I want to thank people here and YouTube that share their troubleshooting and repairs.

I was going to flush my radiator and put in some fresh antifreeze mix, but the tractor wouldn't start/run, so I thought since it only spun over a few revolutions, it was just low on battery power. Charged the battery up, but it still wouldn't run after cranking.

Checked the fuel: getting fuel to the lift pump, fuel bowl was full, fuel inlet to the injection pump was getting fuel. But when I checked for fuel going out of the injection pump, nothing. No fuel coming out from any line I cracked open.

I shot a little starting fluid in the intake, and it fired up but wouldn't stay running. Checked fuses; all were good.

Gave up and researched this forum first, then went to YouTube to look at injection pumps, relays, and solenoids. I kept circling back to the fuel stop solenoid....seemed to be a legit ailment and the check was simple enough.

Checked the solenoid today after pulling it off the pump; solenoid did not retract and the tractor ran!
Now I know what to fix.

For the hell of it, I took it apart to see what it looks like internally, put it back together, and now the damn thing works.

I'm still going to source a spare solenoid just to have

I suspect dirty electrical connections. Unplugging and plugging back in may have provider the fix.

I would have thought the same, but I had disconnected and reconnected the plug a few times, then I tested the unit while plugged in but not installed. It didn't function, so I decided to disassemble.

Regardless, I think having a spare would not be a bad idea
