I see your point, the hydro is a no brainer to drive. It took a couple weeks to get used the the lever. Every once in a while I still try to reverse with my foot.
No brainer, well maybe for some but it took me a little while. I was use to my shuttle shift BH and at first I wouldn't rev the motor up and just push on the pedal only to find I was dogging the engine. Now I've gotten use to HST and both the auto throttle and HST response I'm fine.
I really like the HST response knob. When the driveway start to get a little icy I just drive up and down it with the HST response turned to act immediately. By pushing on the forward/ reverse pedal it really spins the tires and the tire chains dig up the ice very quickly. Does CTV have the option to adjust how quick it responds?
