Cub Cadet LT1042 bagger Compatible with 1440?

Hi,
I have a chance to buy a bagger for my Cub Cadet Riding Mower LT1042, series 1000, 42" cut.
The bagger for sale is for a Cub Cadet Model 1440.
It fits decks 38" - 42".
Does anyone know if this will work for my 1042.

They are totally different tractor chassis as the older 1440 is a garden tractor and the 1042 is a lawn tractor. The decks although I haven't compared the outlets to see if just they maybe the same, are of different design so I'd doubt with out a lot of modification would it work.

I will just have to find the right bagger rather than take a chance on modifications that may not work anyway.

Ok so same type of question although looking for compatability. I too have a Cub Cadet Riding Mower LT1042, series 1000, 42" cut and I am having a hard time finding the correct bagger. Everything I find is LTX1042. Is there any baggers that are compatible with the cub cadet LT1042?
