Cub Cadet 7232, 7233, 7234, and 7235 with front end loader (FEL) model 417 manufactured for Cub Cadet by Woods had a kit available from Woods.
It was Part number 51916. Its purpose was to reinforce the rear of the engine front frame area that connects to the clutch housing (on all models manual or hydro).
The kit prevents the engine lower rear bottom mounting flanges from being broken when the tractor is operated over rough terrain with a loaded loader bucket and bolts holding the engine in place are gradually vibrating out due to vibration.
If not carefully checked often the engine bolts work out and the rear bottom mounting flanges break and oil leaks out of the engine even if it will still run.
Worst case is that the engine must be replaced and it is only available through Cub Cadet 1-piece-at-a-time.
Has anyone installed the kit on their compact utility tractor (CUT)?
Did the part fit?
Was it troublesome to install?
Were modifications required for the kit to be installed?
Can you post photos of the parts installed?
Also, has anyone had to have injectors or pumps replaced and did it cause the crankcase to gain liquid which was diesel contaminated?
