Way to go MesquiteMan! You've got it figured out!

Demo, then demo some more; nothing wrong with being Goldilocks for a while. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Let's see: baby bear's mower isn't it, mama bear's feels really good; I'm real curious how papa bear's mower treats you!! If possible, demo the two remaining choices back to back at the dealer (also I know you're not after a M48, M54, or M60, but if you're serious about the Z-force I'm sure the dealer would let you drive a Tank [grandpa bear?!] in the spirit of Goldilocks).
Warning: bigger machines can be addictive! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Gamble77 is right about the service. On either machine, even if his final quote is close I'd still consider that route. Don't be afraid to jaw on including some blades etc, these often have more mark-up than the machine. If he's overpriced and unfriendly, I definitely understand rewarding those who've treated you right. Don't forget tax if applicable!

I've read much better things about the IntegratedZeroTurn transmissions (ZForce) than the smaller EZT ones (RZT), but don't have first hand failures of either. I probably caused some confusion with "dual pumps and motors"; this is the non-integraded configuration found in most commercial machines.

Have Fun!! I'm looking forward to your verdict....

So I'm not causing confusion, my explaination of the transmissions and encouragement to drive a Tank has nothing to do with thinking that your 2 acres needs anything more than the ZForce (and you might choose the RZT50 yet anyway).

Just I'm amazed that the few Zturn transmissions out there can cause so many marketing schemes among the various manufactures! BTW, Cub must think fairly well of the IZT; the M50 (Cub's "transition" unit from the other direction) uses a form of the IZT (like the Z-force) but I have no idea of the exact configuration on the M50.

Far as the Tank; I like trying tools until I find one that actually is too big [or expontially out of budget!], then stepping back to the right one [my Goldilocks theory!]. Of course, barring $$$, I ussually get hooked on the one that's "too big" and have to have it instead! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
