That's kinda what I was thinking...........most weeds grow in the first inch of soil when young.

Cowski and Don87....yes, I've deepened the outer shanks, so that I can raise the unit overall, thus giving me a more shallow cut with the interior tines. Thanks!

This works well, would probably be better with sweeps.
