That's an interesting trick. I wouldn't have thought insulating the top of the culvert would make a difference, with the ends open to the air. I guess I could see it on a longer culvert, but does it work on a 12 or 15" culvert that's relatively short (i.e. just long enough to cross a driveway)? If so, I may have to try it.
