I love the CAD dude. You have a *lot* going on there. The swiss-army-QH.

Yeah, I think it will be handy.

In addition to its basic function as a 3PT Quick Hitch, it is a:

Counterweight
Lift with Chain Hooks for skidding logs
2" Receiver D Ring for Tow Strap
2" Receiver Adjustable Drop and Raise Ball Hitch
Two 50 Cal Ammo Cans with quick release toggle latches
HD Plastic 32”L x 15” W x 7-1/2 Tall Carry box.
Ripper attachment
Middle Buster Attachment
Hopefully I've also addressed some of the shortcomings of the QA hitch by making it fit Implements with clevis style hitch points and by beefing up the pin bosses so the holes won't get beat out from hard usage and vibration.

Re: Custom 3 point attachment 2" reciever, Weight Box, Tool Carrier/work table in use

Well its been on the tractor a while.. Even a near 500 Lb Counter weight is not quite enough. When I take the weight off to do some field mowing, I'm goint to add another 125 Lbs by casting an additionll 3" of concrete filled with steel scrap tp the bottom of the weight.

Other than that it works great, as long as I back up level and straight on center when hooking up stuff. That tool carrier sort of blocka my line of sight in some spots.

I have not tried the ripper /middle buster attachment yet.

Update::Custom Qick Hitch 3pt. attachment 2" reciever, Weight Box, Tool Carrier, Plow

If I was to do this over again I'd make the plastic box handy dandy tool carrier a quick release deal so I could easily take it off when backing up to hook up my attachements. The tool carrier box blocks my view and is a makes hooking up PTO driveshaft kind of a pain. A wire basket is another thought but would still hinder hooking up the driveshaft.

I'd also add about an inch more clearance betwwen the counter weight and the Qucik hitch, and make up for the loss of weight by extending the bottom of the counter weight about 3".
You have to back up just right for it to drop in /out. If you do it right, slow and careful, it really works slick. At night, in the dark, tired, & hungry, not so much. Getting the near 500 LB Iron filled concrete counter weight stuck in the quick hitch is no fun.

With my modifications to the quick hitch pick up points all my implements fit nice.

I can attach an International Ag. HD 4' rotary cutter, a 5' wide power tiller, a Land pride BB2472 BB, A land Pride 1572 rake, a 4' wide harrow, a material handler platform 62" W x 35" D with removeable sides, a potato plow/middle busster, and a spiked rotary drum plug airator.

The 3 Pt hitch on the Max28 is very strong for a tiny tractor.

Custom 3 point a 2" reciever, Plow, Weight Box, Tool Carrier/work table, Etc, Etc.

This is the first time I used my self made Plow/ Ripper. The plow worked so well breaking virgin ground that I did not need to use the ripper.

Life is good not having to hitch up the Oxen.

Note: I used snow blower shear bolts, with internal bushings just in case I found an immoveable object.

The plow lifted out a 200 lb Rock.

The Max28 shuttle at 3,000 Lbs was just the right weight. Heavy enough to get some traction, light enough it would not disappear in the soft ground. It is also maneuverable.

All my other attachments fit my modified quick hitch well.

Nice! Glad it's working out well for you. Maybe you should consider going into production and start selling them lol.

Not a lot of $$ in Ag. stuff, especially as it is a very full maket. I looked into this, and production costs were just stupid. Then there is China.

" Then there is China"
Having worked various trade shows I can tell you that they can copy within 24 hours to have the clone ready to take orders the next day.
Over the years I have had a couple of marketable ideas but resisted the temptation due to that fact. I instead simply hand fabricated for friends and a few local clients.

As far as patents and copy writes, forget that as they totally ignore them and greedy merchants simply play dumb.
Once aware of cloned goods customs does its best but huge % still gets by.

The quick hitch was all based off a Harbor Freight that I got on sale at a stupid cost of $69.99 clearance less 20%. I used to work as a design M.E. in a Manufacturing facility where I could have brought home enough metal to build a nuke sub.

That was then.

I now work for a smaller company, production shop, so my access to al sorts of metal free is limited. The other friends shops I scrounge metal from I don't want to wear out my welcome, so I actually have to buy metal for my projects!

The few pieces of metal I bought to add to my quick hitch cost way more than the hitch! Even so I got over 350 lbs. of scrap steel in that small cast concrete block free.

I am going to get a welder this summer as even at a reasonable $45/hr. rate, I have +$250 in fabrication labor in just this project. I did some welding myself also.
Last winter I wrecked my plow to the tune of a $600 weld repair, so a welder makes sense.

NEW! 216 Version 4 AHP AlphaTig-2X - YouTube

You probably can't see where I did some major surgery to the lower hooks so now the hitch fits ALL of my implements.

Between all the stuff I added and miscellaneous stuff, to get this setup, I got a lot of time and near $1000 dollars in it.

With that I should have started of with a top quality quick hitch, but actually the HF unit is not that bad.

All in all it is not the just back up and throw the level quick hitch like they claim but Having this hitch leaves no excuse for not changing implements to do another job, and is a real pleasure to use vs. an ordinary 3 pt. hitch.

Ps.

The is nothing wrong with Pat's Easy Change adapters either, I just wanted a compact frame to change all sorts of stuff off the compact tractor.
