Paul - When you get the exhaust project figured out, and as always, up to your excellent standards, figure out a price for one that will fit the 5740 (probably the same configuration) and I will order one from you.

Down here in the desert, when the temp is +110 (and the wind chill :D reaches +121), the dust being blown from the exhaust makes the orange into a brown.

Peter it will be a few weeks before I get a start on it but I got a plan in my head that will not only look good but will be functional. I'm hope that I can do it and still make it look like it should have been there all along. I'll be posting very detailed photo's on here as always and it it look and works good you can get one made locally. If you can't get it made up where your too I'll help you out. Appreciate your kind words on my work and glad you like it sir.

Question for those following all of this. I'm going to be useing an exhaust stack on the Kubota. Would you go with black or chrome?

Personally, I would go black. With the lack of chrome on the L series, I think it would look odd. Think you need to start a new thread. Looks like there is going to be a lot of discussions on this.

I would go with Kubota ROPS Grey or Black (whichever will match the front uprights on your cab and/or your front fenders)

I vote black too. That way the soot blends in with the finish, and you don't get the rainbow color effect from the heat like you do with chrome.

Good advise guys. Black it will be. Thanks for your votes. I'll start a new thread on it and that way if someone is looking for info on the subject it won't be buried in a forklift thread ;)

I vote for anything you want to do:D

4shorts that's a nice bender!!......My wife's cousin just bought a new one for his auto repair shop, because his other one was old & quit working.....He does a lot of dual-exhaust for trucks.....I had mine done a couple years ago & like the sound:D

I'm looking forward to your new thread.....and can't wait to see what you come up with it.

Thanks for sharing the bender!
