I made a canopy for my 4600 ford based on the oem style that was on my 5000 ford.

:thumbsup: I noticed there is no FEL, if you decide you want one will the forward post be in the way?

Yeah, but if I ever get an FEL I'll get a tractor with something besides a stright shift transmission.

My new cutting torch came yesterday and I got the sweeps put up last night. All that is left is the front posts, paint and lights. Hopefully I can get more done this evening.

the upright braces in front.. that connect to the swept back pieces that run to the canopy.
how do you have them attached at the bottom?

I had the local steel suppler here cut some plates on his plasma table (so it would be a nice clean cut) out of some old 3/16 sheet metal I had laying around. They are bolted to where a front FEL bracket would be if it had one and welded to the factory hood guard. The rear will be the same way. I'm going to weld in some gussets to brace it up but I'm waiting until I take everything off to paint so it will be easier to weld.
