Gave the tooth bar a real test and here's what I found:

removed a nice size stump.
brakes off the dirt that stuck to stump.
cuts and rips roots (makes you smile when she rips right out of the ground)
grades with ease
backfilling is not a issue.
combs out roots with ease I didn't have to hook up the york rake to clean up.
I tried cutting a path for a walkway it cuts with ease.
The teeth pick up the stump with out droping it.

The tooth bar is like a giant version of my back hoe bucket.
It's so cool to be able to dig while moving.

This is def the way to go.
The tooth bar is a must have attachment not only will it save you time, it will save your bucket -I wish I bought this with my tractor (new)

That's good to hear. As mentioned, I do use my bucket edge for precise back dragging and filling. The bucket edge works much better than the back of the bucket, at least for me. However, all the things you mentioned above are things I do more than back dragging with the bucket edge. I think toothbar just moved to the top of the list of toys for my tractor, leaping over a canopy top, hydraulic top link and a disk. The list isn't getting any shorter though. First because the budget is shot and second, I keep adding things to it!

If you're interested in function over beauty and can fab some hardware, golf cart tops can be had cheaply or free. Mine (for my first golf cart) was $30. Wish I had known that before I bought my canopy

Your installation looks great and thank you for letting my installation pictures help you. I like your summary of all the advantages and things you can do with your toothbar. It is testimony and reason for having one. I'm also glad you were able to save money as a result from all the feedback you got here on TBN. This is a great site for all.
