Darn loader pins keep slipping out!

/ Darn loader pins keep slipping out! #11
After reading this thread I looked over my 724 loader on a L3940. I found that all the nuts and bolts were present but some nuts were at or near the end of the bolt. My question is should they be tight to the pin or leave some space so they can move

I don't think it matters, mine are fairly close to the ends also and not cinched down, If you will look closely you will notice the nuts are lock nuts, not ordinary nuts. They should not/have not come off yet.

I leave mine snug but not tight. Since I don't have a quick attach on the front, I have to remove the bolts/nuts everytime that the pallet forks vs bucket are switched. After three years of switching, the nylock nuts keep the bolts in place with no problems....but I keep spares, just in case.

Thanks knew they were lock nuts but wasn't sure to tighten.
