Yeah, been down that road before. Interestingly, we bled it....cranked it....bled it....cranked it.... and again, nothing....
Almost the moment I put the jumper cables from my car onto the battery, it fired right up.
My suspicion is the battery in it is weak (looks rather small....my guess is whoever the seller was at the auction put a "decent" battery in there that only needed it to start the machine once/twice for the auction....then screw the new buyer)
My brother in law on the other hand, doesn't necessarily think the battery is an issue (in spite of it simply LOOKING too small as well as the difference when it's being assisted by jumper cables)
Anyway, my brother in law is convinced the transfer pump is 'dead' and it's the issue, not providing pressure to the fuel pump.
I scratched my head and told him (perhaps in error) that my understanding is the transfer pumps job is to simply present the fuel to the injector pump and the injector pump does the rest.
This is when he disconnected the lines and used the manual pump on the transfer pump to show it's not moving anything....but....when we actually cranked the engine over, it spit fuel out maybe 10" "proving" (to me at least) that it is in fact working.
He's pretty mechanical so I can't toss his thoughts under the bus..... but then again..... I'm kind of mechanical too..... so I'm just shutting up so I don't make my wife (his sister) angry with me!!
