Snow Deal ON Snow Cab Grand L

Can anyone vouch for this cab? I'm interested, $650 doesn't sound like a bad deal.

Any other options out there on a Kubota L3710 or L4310?

is this cab permanante?? I wouldent want one on in the summer. it would be like a green house. if you could swing it, get the Grand Cab. It has AC and heat.

Here's a thread showing mounting of an OTC cab on a JD 790 --> 2210 Cab choices

The OTC cab attaches to my 790 at each fender (4 bolts), each foot rest (4 bolts), both sides of the center console (2 bolts) and to the ROPS (2 bolts) along with some velcro fastening. Once fully assembled, it probably takes less than an hour to remove and reinstall, and weighs about 70 lbs.

Sorry, but you do get what you pay for. These have about the worst visibility you could get to start with. They will require you to make some new holes in your tractor where you might wish you didn't have them later. They have less life then the oter cabs as all things get brittle in the cold. They do keep the wind and cold off you.

I have to tell you that the "cab" in the web catalog on the L-Kubota looks pretty cheesy.

I don't think I'd put a cab like that on my tractor. Of course, I don't need it, but it doesn't look very durable.

I have found with vinyl, that the cold here in Michigan in the winter seems to cause it to crack. I'd get a Curtis cab over the vinyl one or better yet, a factory cab.

I'd love to have a Jodale-Perry cab or similar for $5,000+ (see attachment) or even a Curtis for $2,795. However if the decision is freezing my buns off without a cab or have protection against the wind and blowing snow, I'll take a cheap cab any day.

BTW visibility is OK (there is an optional safety glass windshield), NO new holes are required, and although the frame is reasonably sturdy, undoubtably the covering won't last as long as a hard cab.
