Dealer Dealer Pains !!!

Don't blow this too far out of proportion. You are completely entitled to a new, undamaged tractor equipped as agreed, and you should settle for nothing less, but I think locking in on a particular serial number might be going a bit overboard.

You fully deserve a new tractor, in new condition, equipped as agreed. Not a demo unit, not one that's scratched up (you get to do that to it!). Don't pay the balance until you are satisfied, and perhaps make up a check list to go over on delivery. Give the dealer your checklist in advance so there are no surprises and you can say why you are not accepting the tractor on delivery if it doesn't meet your criteria.

Winger, You say your from Indiana,so am I and I am not happy with my dealer either. I waited a forever for mine to be delivered and they were in stock. Also the service there is terrible. I have a small crack in my fuel tank and they have had the tractor for two weeks. They say they cant get it from Kubota. I love my BX but Kubota should be more picky on choosing dealers. I would like to buy a new one from Carver Equipment but I am a little concerned about service if I need it. Maybe I should open my own Dealership.
PS where in Indiana are you, maybe same dealer.

I am from Indiana as well... Just bought a new BX2200. So far no problems except the hood was scraped a little like maybe from the crate... Not scratched but scraped. I sent an email to the dealer asking if the paint had a clear coat or if I could just buff/polish out with some compound. He wrote back and said to try it and if it didn't work he would warrant the hood and replace... Sounded fair enough but I still haven't tried it yet. I also emailed him when I discovered I didn't have the grill guard he told me came with the unit... Has not answered that one yet.. I think I will try again... I figured if I had an answer in email I could hold him to it...

Sure hope I don't have problems after the sale since he seemed to be on the up and up before I bought it.... Tom
