Dealing with sod clumps after grading?

Dennis is right on the money. On the campground I did last summer (after knocking down the big piles with the bucket) I used the power rake to rake off all of the chips after I used the mulcher, then graded all of the campsites and picnic areas. Pretty handy.

You can pin it to grade, then remove the pin and let it float after the grade is set. I personally don't use the float position for much in my work, but on grass you can rake sticks and surface rocks without damaging the grass.

The current job I'm working on it looks like I'll have to use my disc and harrow, can't find a place to rent a Harley rake. The only rental place that has them won't rent one to me because my Case 1845C uses 10w30 for hydraulic fluid and they didn't want to cross contaminate the fluid. Really, I think they mostly wanted to rent me a Bobcat to go with it. I'll call around a few more rental places, the place that did have them only wanted $72 per day which isn't bad IMO.
