Dealing with tractor wire chewing critters

/ Dealing with tractor wire chewing critters #21
After reading this post a while ago I got mothballs to try. My tractor is kept on property where I don't live yet, but visit about every 2 weeks for now, until I build and move up there. The last time I went up I noticed there were no "little nests" on my tractor any more, so it works for me.

I tried glue traps also and they worked on the small critters. Although I'm not a mouse fan, I've seen them (and a variety of other critters) still alive when I returned. Made me wonder how long they suffered. Probably starved to death. So I don't use them anymore. Don't know how much justification there is to smash one and kill it that way vs the glue trap? Same thing in the end. Just me, I guess.
