I recently took delivery of an LK 3054 and have since noticed that it dosen't have a decompression knob although there's a speace on the dash for it and there's details about it in the operators manual. The dealer tells me that having one is no longer necessary due to the technology of the engine. , but I'm still concerned in that it gets pretty cold sometimes in Massachusetts and I remember the thing being somewhat useful on my old Deere 850. Any thoughts on this?

I agree with the dealer no longer needed, but old technology is still nice to have around. If I had one I'd never use it thou.

get yourself a $45.00 tank circulator they install real easy to the right front of the tractor along the frame. the radiator has a half inch hose that comes out of the bottom that you can tap into you dont even have to drain the system when you do this.
