That makes me glad I'm not there.:laughing: Our forecast for tonight is 20 degrees, and I do wish we could get some rain, but don't need wet and cold at the same time.

Sleet and rain , ice this A.M. in upstate N.Y. Forcast for the rest of the day and into tommorow is heavy rain, guess we missed that heavy snow that the weathermen were talking about,. Shoot, the B3200 is @ the ready and operator is chomping @ the bit.

2 below right now, suppose to get minus 20 tonight. You guys can have the freezing rain, that tends to take down trees and power lines.

I was a little disappointed that my area missed the big snow. The twin cities metro got about 17" yesterday.All I got was just a little dusting.

Today;BRANSON, Mo. -- More than 600 passengers and crew were expected to be stuck on a showboat overnight after high winds caused the vessel to run aground Saturday on a Missouri lake, officials said.

That is certainly going to make life interesting for a while. Where I am our rain turned white about a month ago,and is now piled and/or blown into piles all over the place.

We're supposed to dip down to 17deg tomorrow morning and Tuesday morning. That's just way to cold for my liking. Ya'll can keep all that snow, ice, and freezing rain up there btw.

Wish we'd get some of that rain down here in central Texas (Lampasas - Hamilton area). We haven't had a good, wet rain since last spring, and there is no prospect of any rain in the foreseeable future. It's mainly due to a La Nina weather pattern.

Ranchers are starting to sell off some of their herds because their pastures can't carry them any more. A lot of ranchers have planted winter grasses like rye, but there's no water to get it started.

I'm watering our livestock from a trough, running water from the well via a float valve. There's maybe 4 inches of water in the pond. The ground's so dry, it's like walking on talcum powder.

It's really getting bad. Please, PLEASE make it rain!!!!

Yep, I here you. 25 now right here/feels like 14... I was turning compost today and in a few minutes it was frozen to the loader. :confused2:
