Tractor
Deere 4410
I have decided on a 5e series tractor with a loader.

I have a price from my local dealer for a
5065e 12 speed power reverser
MFWD
520M loader
price is 43K

looks inline with what I see on machine finder.
Does anyone know what kind of discount I should be able to get from thier first price?

Welcome to TBN , is that a new tractor with warranty? Cash price? Or with low interest financing price? It is for sure the 12 speed power reverser transmission? That is a real nice tractor especially with the power reverser transmission. That 520m loader is a really good stout loader also. There’s a lot of the 5065e’s for sale on various internet sites like tractor house , smart to scroll thru them and compare comparable specd prices. If you can find the same exact tractor cheaper at another dealer that would give you some leverage with your dealer. If it’s new and as you describe I doubt he’ll move much but you never know. Good luck 👍

Sorry left some of those details out.

It is a 2 year lease return that the customer hardly used.
It is a 2022 with less than 20 hours on it.

So a better description

2022 5055e MFWD
12 speed
520M loader
20 hrs
remaining warranty. basic warranty expire soon.
pricing is ~$1000 more than some comparable tractors but they would require shipping / hauling
that would equalize the cost to me.

Is it a 5055e or 5065e ? Does it have a cab ? If it’s a 5055e no cab you can do much better. Quick look online Mast tractor sales has 5055e no cab 12 speed 90hrs for 38,900 . If it’s a 5055e with cab I’d say decent price. Can’t help till you completely give accurate description

Gotcha , well I’d say that’s not to bad a price. You might be able to finagle it down a little maybe a K or 2 based on I’m seeing some 5075e’s specd the same for right around that 43 number.. There’s over 400 5075’s for sale so that’s probably got much to do with it. Id use that as a bargaining chip. Maybe offer him 40-41 sense you’re starting to lean towards a 5075 for same price. Find some to back up your claims. Knowing the market and what’s out there at what prices is your best card for getting the best price. Unless you need the extra 10 hp for pto power I’d just as soon have the 65 . It’ll lift the same both loaderand 3pt, pull the same maybe 1 gear lower only if you plan on pulling some high draft loads . That being said I wouldn’t want to pay the same for a 65 as I could buy the same low hour and specd 75.. Sounds like you’re doing your homework though that’s the best you can do.
One thing I would highly suggest is get some sort of 3pt ballast, that 520 loader has a lot of lift capacity. A set of 3pt forks with even a homemade weight box u could slip the forks into quick is a fairly inexpensive option. Show us some pictures of what you’re looking at if possible. Good luck 👍

At 20 hrs that tractor is not run in. I suggest you ask the dealer how to run the tractor in properly.
Good Luck

they don’t have the tractor in yet but I will post a picture once I get one

I am looking at 5075s for comparison and have some that are very close in price. I will use those for discussions with my dealer

I will add some wheel weights and maybe rim guard. I am looking at ways for a three point ballast. In short term I have a rotary mower that will help a lot but won’t help getting into tight areas

One of my friends bought same tractor 2 years ago with almost 300 hours on it. it was less than 4 yrs old, 4x4, had loader with 3rd function and rear remotes. $26,500.

Just curious if you’ve got any pics of what you decided on ? Have you come up with a plan for 3pt counterweight?
