here is why I never mentioned them and I sure wouldn't be mentioning Kubota but that is why the OP is considering - WHY?
Because I just did 9 months of extensive shopping and here is how the $$ played out for me when shopping for my tractor. Prices highest to lowest.
1) Kubota
2) LS
3) Mahindra was close to LS
4) New Holland
5) Case IH - very close with might as well call it a draw
6) Branson
7) Deere
8) Kioti
9) I didn't look at yanmar they didn't have what I was looking for
So..........as you can see as close as like for like Deere was by far the best price in the CUT I ended up getting however being fair NO ONE makes a higher HP tractor with a MMM in 72" so I was doing my best to compare as close as I could to the 2038R.
That is why I didn't mention Mahindra, they are proud of their stuff as well as LS maybe as you get in the larger stuff it starts to even out or swing the other way - I haven't shopped in those areas as I have two in the mid HP range that I REALLY ENJOY!!!
No they are not modern cabbed tractors but they are sweet to me!!!
