Mohammed,
Tonight for the first time an ad keeps popping into my screen. I know someone has to pay for this great service, but this is the first I've seen this...have you changed your practice? Given the value I find here, a commercial now and then is OK by me, but the same ad has popped up four times in about five minutes. Anyone else getting these or have they been here all along and I've somehow missed them?

Actually the ad is on the top of the page and pops down when you move your mouse too close to it. It has been popping down on me, too and I have to move my mouse around it to make it pop back up. It is kinda aggravavting.

Hello,

The only "sticky" dropdown is the "Save $1000" one. For that you have to click the "close" button (since it'd be tricky to enter in the data in that form otherwise.)

I can see how it could be a little tricky for some people, but generally it shouldn't be too much of an interference with the site. And that banner is in the rotation with the rest of our banners, so you shouldn't be seeing it EVERY time you load a page. Just once in a while. But we definitely appreciate the feedback.

It's an absolute pain. It drops down whenever I move my cursor up near the index button.
Please take away anything that pops up unless I actually initiate an action. It is very annoying otherwise - kind of like the salesman that keeps hovering near you and every two minutes interrupts your train of thought with "salesman talk". I leave those stores very quickly.

Actually, what I just noticed is more than annoying - NONE of the buttons at the top of the page immediately below the ad (e.g. Control Panel / Who's Online / User List / FAQ / Logout Previous / Index / Next / Expand ) will work for me any time that Deere add is up there. I have to reload the page to get another ad up there. I'm using Netscape.

Which version of Netscape?

Same thing happened to me when I wanted to flaten the post. I had to switch to another reply on the same subject in order to do it. I am on a MAC and using IE.

I liked it the first time it popped up. Thought it was kind of unique and interesting.

And then it popped up again....and again.....and again.....etc./w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif

I think you get the idea!/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Just don't run your cursor over the ad -- problem solved.
