Thinkin outloud here after I said I wouldn't Bob, but why is that U can think my opinions stink and I can think your opinions stink and we can both me OK with that where as half the other people around here can't your "stench" or mine? I mean.. I LOVE to talk politics (TBN not the place though) even though I am WAY to one side. It's OK to be on the other side as far as I am concerned, I just don't agree with it. Someone needs to push me off this box cuz I can go for a LONG time...

Then there is emotion, you and I tend to leave it at the door when we enter this forum so it doesn't get in our way. Others may mistake my blunt statements of fact, my sarcasm, or my logic for being condescending to them and they are wrong but I can't much help them with that. They may think your statements or sarcasm are wrong or perhaps even acerbic. Again, they misunderstand you, not your problem. When statements are made that "A" is better because of . . . (insert list of facts) and someone owns "B" and that person takes it as a "personal" attack then their mix their emotion into the mix and that is where the problems come in on threads. Heck just look at the actual facts in this thread, they are very very slim, but there are a few posts were emotions have obviously run pretty hot. Some might be out of jealously or misplaced pride of ownership of their particular brand, others due to other emotional issues that they might carry against a specific member so they attack a post. So be it. You and I can continue to understand each other, have a cold beer after we disagree, others are not up to that level.

That would be the Klingon translation of the original Chinese of the book The Art of War by the Chinese medevil warlord Sun Tzu on the left side and the right side is the English translation of the same passage. Should you care to look it up, the passage comes from the end of Chapter 8.
