You don't know me. I don't know you. It appears you've been a member of TBN for over a decade and I have the impression that in the 40 thousand + posts you've made your contribution and input has been what one might expect from any member here. That is, quite reasonable viewpoints, comments and suggestions regarding issues of interest to others. I've only been around here for a couple of years with but a couple hundred posts. But again, pretty much come here to learn and share experiences with others who live in a rural environment.

That you've chosen to have taken such great offense to someone who has a different point of view on this particular issue and resorted to name calling seems odd.

Your 'point of view' has been proven wrong by federal documents themselves, yet you continue to try to tell everyone in here that they are wrong. There is something seriously wrong with you.

I'm not mad at anybody who is ignorant of the facts. but once the facts are presented.... how do you argue and refuse to believe that the govt IS/HAS bought all that ammo, when the reports are out there in mainstream media... not some lonely blog.. but ap, fox, and heck.. the GAO and other contract houses serving the fed. you can see in black and white what's bought if you dig..

once that info's out.. it's no longer a theory.. it's fact.

ALL of the bureaucracies are arming up. What the heck does the Department of Education need with armed storm troopers? Or the Small Business Admin? Or the Railroad Retirement Board?

and I didn't take offense at his point of view either... I just saw it at odds with the facts of the matter.

my post that started this was that various fed agencies bought alot of ammo.. then it was disputed as cookery.. the first links I posted.. the only ones I could find without heavy digging were dismissed.. I dug hard and found better info.

like I said in my post. I won't argue with him.

he can have his opinion... the facts are the facts.

they are kinda well hidden in plain sight burried under lots of red tape.. but they are there.

what I found even more disturbing is my local paper that actually RAN stories on these issues.. has now pulled those stories from their online archive of stories that mirrors the newsprint copy. go figure..

On the contrary. Virtually every "source" quoted here to support this silliness is from a highly partisan blog. Hardly credible, but apparently taken as gospel by many. One has to question the validity of such claims when any kind of search for actual facts is littered with blog posts from the likes of washingtonsblog, theblaze, americanwatchtower, teaparty.org etc. etc.

But ok, it doesn't take all that much effort to find those who discount these kinds of claims:
