Regarding the comments on my old trailer,
Trailer is a good trailer that can carry the load. The bucket has a lock on it so it did not budge a millimeter. The hitch chains and lights all work. The tires are good. I was strapped down by a couple of 6000 lb. straps plus the cheap ones you buy at department stores.
The risk AI took was not having trailer brakes, but the total tow load was only about 4,000 Lbs. I drove really easy, giving myself a lot of room during very light traffic.
I think a new RAM 3500 or F450 hauling 15 ton's is more dangerous.
PS I really like the "Semi Shuttle" gear box, not quite as nice as a Kubota GST, but very happy with the way it moves, and sure seems to have grunt. I'm glad not the have gotten a 2 speed HST. 8 speeds forward & reverse is way better than the Kioti 2510 6F/2R trans, but to be honest, I bet in the real world the Kioti 4 link loader is better, except the way the Kioti attaches to the frame lacks a lot of beef.
Max 28 seems like a nice tractor, but I won't know till I work it. I have some additions and reinforcements to do on it before I beat it up.
