I can not post any pics right now because it looks OK. But that post that is welded to the 3/8" angle iron that the cly is mounted to adds a lot of leverage. Mine also had the reenforcemant backup but I still bent the angle iron, At first I thought it was my fault so when I rebuilt it I used 1/2" angle iron, it twisted it again. The second time I used 1/2 angle and backed it up with a piece of 1-1/2 square tube 3/16" wall off the top of that mounting post down to the back of the bucket and I twisted the angle again. At this point I was about to give up but I took two step backwards then I realized what was going on. I used it this summer with a lot of fursturations but I knew that next spring I would have an exterme rootrake and grapple combined. Now it looks like I will have it by next month. I need it for logging and firewood processing. I will take the old one and remake it into a setup for my forks. I hope that I have explained this enough so that you understand what happened to mine. No one would ever beleive that the height of that post would help to compound the pressure that the cyl applies.Understand now that mine is a grapple that bolts onto the bucket.
Unless I completely missed the boat the bolt on units are far different from the one the OP has on order.
