Not all of us use "usernames" instead of our real name.Always assume that anything you put on the internet will be there forever.
That is why people use usernames instead of their real name.
It is not a website or forum operator's responsibility to remove everything you have posted voluntarily.
Plus it messes up the flow of threads.
If you are unhappy with a particular forum then simply dont sign in.

Because it messes up the threads if you have a lot of posts. As of 2018 we will delete all personal information on request but the actual accounts remain in case a member wants to return. It also allows us to more easily access all posts by that user. If the account is actually deleted, the posts are set to guest and if for example said member wants to find an old post, it would be incredibly difficult.
There's an account number that would be retained. That's the unique identifier.
