I have a 13.5 hp Yanmar with rice tires (deeper lugs). I wrecked one of the front tires which are 5x12 tires. I have been searching far and wide for it. Apparantly its a discontinued size. Would consider a used tire if in good shape. I've tried a number of dealers of grey market tractors thinking most of these tractors come with tires like this but some must be changed over to turf tires. Thanks.

So the 5x12 you need is also a rice tire, as for a 4wd model? ( and not a 3-rib )?

I e-mailed your question to miller tire and got this reply. You might want to get your tape measure out and see if it is something you need to call them about.

I have the 5x14 tires. The 5 x 12 is available here, but you will have to buy 2 so they match. They are a standard lug, not the rice.

Not the deep (rice) lug. I was told by our Firestone rep that those were only sold in japan. We have several used 5-12s off of some salvaged 1510Ds but they are all in really bad shape. Do you really need the deep lug or are you just trying to avoid buying two tires? We could probably import one if you really needed it but it would cost much more than a set of the standard tires I'm sure.
