We have a newer 115hp Deutz(2019) which has the following configuration as pictured for the rear hydraulics.

With three different remote configurations, what should each be used/not used for?

For example, we have a Bale Feedout wagon, which has a ram that controls the tilt, and has a splitter which can control rear forks or the feed out chain. Which two would be best to plug into, or does it matter?

The only "caution" I'm aware of that might cause damage to equipment is using a valve with regen on a motor application.

The illustration does not show that type of valve, so I'm guessing you can hook up any function to any valve. Just be mindful of the implications!

Float is Float! No power when the control lever is fully over into float. So don't do that if you don't want to. But mighty handy for moving stuff by hand (engine off of course!)

Float is often used on planters and grain drills as the wheels are often the power and timing for the seeds as well as lifting the planter for head land turns. Also many implements with wings that flex to follow ground contours, tedders and bat wing mowers. Also many haybines will use the float function to lower and float on the cutterbar shoes. I use float on my backblade tilt function when blading snow.
To me not having a float function is often very aggravating.
