Did I bust something on the loader hydraulics?

Well, I'm late to this party and certainly no hydraulics expert. But.

The video seems to show the bucket being rocked, just by foot pressure, with the bucket and the entire FEL frame raising and lowering in sync. Did not see anything indicating this was while running, shutdown, or what position the FEL control might be in.

While I am not the heaviest guy around, I cannot do that with my little B21 and I doubt that machine is any lighter. Pushing or extending ONE cylinder takes more effort than that, let alone FOUR. Along with the weight of the frame itself? Am I missing something? A few marbles here and there not counting?
If boom control spool is locked into float position one could cause boom to raise/lower by rocking bucket BUT that still leaves the question unanswered why bucket can be rocked fore & aft.

I don't see any video but from the description, he probably blew the piston seal(s).
You must not have clicked on the photo containing the FEL bucket

I clicked on the first link posted. The video didn't play. All I saw was a picture of a blue tractor next to a Bad Boy (I think).

This has to be one of the most frustrating and ill informed threads I've ever read on TBN! Anyone else feel the same? :)

Edit: Not directed at anyone in particular.
Count me in, primarily because the OP seems to have 'left the building'. Unless I missed it, he has not responded to anything except a comment about the video post.

Just click the tiny arrow on that picture to make it play.

Yea, that happened to me too. But after reading other posts, on second attempt, when I then clicked on the 'picture' itself, it turned into a video.

Are you not buying the fact that there could be and probably is air in the cylinders? It seems very obvious to me.

The cutting edge of the bucket is slightly above ground and when he steps on it, the lever arm that is pivoting on the rear bottom edge of the bucket is causing the boom arms to raise as seen in the video.

All this is facilitated by air in the cylinders. Someone asked if the tractor in the video is running or not. It shouldn't make any difference assuming the valve is closed and intact. The bucket and boom certainly couldn't be moved that easily even without air if there was a leaky seal or valve spool.

NO I'm not buying into your air theory. As I previously stated YOU HAVE NOT PROVED THAT THERE IS AIR IN THE FEL HYD SYSTEM other than you choosing to talk about air in the hyd's.. How do you know there's not a blown internal cylinder piston packing or loose piston on cylinder rod instead of your alleged air?

There may very well be air in the cylinders. This allows the rams to move because the air is compressable. But you have to put some work into compressing the air. Generally things are not all loosey-goosey like that appears to be ?????? Just saying.

None of the theory's so far explain why ( 0p said ) hydraulics worked normal. With that much air they'd be awfully jerky.
