Diesel Biocide Source

Anyone know a retailer or online source for a diesel biocide? Preferrably a retailer in the Dallas/Fort Worth/Waco area? O'Reillys has the 80 oz bottle in the Power Service Bio Kleen (for 119.99) but not the 16oz. I only need a pint or qt. max. Thanks to all.

just google "diesel biocide" and there's a whole bunch of sources show up. found one at $24 /pint and that treats 320 gallons.

Thanks Jerry. I tried the Google search, I should of been more specific in my question. I really wanted a "walk in" retailer. I'll go online if I have to but didn't want to wait for shipping. I've tried 2 JD dealers, a couple of Love's, a few truckstops, my local Wallyworld, Tractor Supply & can't find a biocide. Just thought someone might know a retailer. Thanks again.

go to Power Service's website. Click on biocide and then "where to buy".

Yep, first thing I tried. All those retailers listed (or the half dozen I tried) just carry the fuel treatments with cetane boost or the 911-not the biocide. Probably just go the Amazon route.

Any truck stops (Love's, Flying J, etc) in your area. They might have it.

I own a truck parts store we sell Micronol BC220 . 16 oz. bottle , will kill in 600 gal , wiil prevent in 1200 gal . Call them for a local dist . 800-435-5609 or Aronol Diesel Fuel Additives Heating Oil Detergents & Conditioners . Good stuff , we sell a lot :thumbsup:

Thanks MF1552. I'll try that. A buddy @ work said boat shops carry it as well, seems to be a problem with the boat guys too. Diesel bugs that is.

Ask O'Riley's to get it for you in the 16 ounce size. They are pretty quick in my experience.

Startron for diesel worked well for me. Had to change out my fuel filter though, was nearly full with slimy gunk.
CAP auto parts stores sells it local, 8oz. bottle treats 128 gallons about $10 a few years ago when I got mine.

I bought some Lucas brand. Lots of places cary Lucas maybe one will handle this also.
