Oil & Fuel Diesel cans, Best ones???

They are a little expencive but I LIKE http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/productdetail.jsp?xi=xi&ItemId=1611773246&ccitem= which is a Type 1 safty can. Now what do I use. I bought a torpedo type heater. When I bought it I also go 2 x 5gal round steel cans, clearly labled kerosen. If it is good enough for kero it is good enough for diesel. I went to the local Bobcat dealer and bought a vented hose made for that can type. The hose is about 18in so I get the can close, bend the hose into the tank, upend the can until empty. It is nice that my tractor has a 7gal tank. I run it down to adout a gallon before I refill that give about a gal of space for foam.

I've got a 2210, and I was constantly spilling fuel on it, since the fill cap is up in the middle of the hood... hard to balance a 5 gallon can with my tendonitis. So I got a 15 gallon gear-lube Pennzoil keg from my quick-lube pal, added a hand crank pump and a filter, and presto-- I can fill it with no spills. Mounted the keg on a hand cart, and I lift it into the truck with the loader to fill it. Good for about 3 fills. Had to add a fill hole to the top and a bottom base for the pick-up tube, but it all worked out great.
