Diesel prices in Jan 2008?

$3.59/gal on road diesel.
$3.29/gal off road red dyed diesel. This is the fuel they deliver for home heating oil. They guy that runs the fuel depot said the fuel is ALL ULSD. The only diff is when they pump it into the tanks they dump a red dye into the off road/home heating diesel. Plus there is no $.30 tax applied to it.

I dont know how they do it around the rest of the country. But at this depot, thats what they do. The guy said it was too costly to have LSD fuel seperated from the ulsd, dyed seperated from undyed ect, ect.

Sooooo, I dont have much choice, I still use power service and buy their diesel for all my needs EXCEPT I shut off the oil furnace last fall and burn wood 24/7 in the wood furnace..

I thought that I would make you guys feel better about paying the high prices at the pump there. Diesel is cheaper than anything else here, not by as much as it used to be but still cheaper and the price has come down recently, so that is good. I filled up the car last Saturday and diesel cost, after conversions of liters to gallons and zloty to dollars, it cost $6:42/gallon.

You are getting closer to what the socialists of Europe charge for fuel, but you're not there yet!!

vt I called a bulk dealer and it was 3.5x a gal he refused to price offroad saying it was way more expensive and much easier to just file for the rebate at the end of the year.

Thanks for letting us know what you are paying over there in Poland. BTW, the socialists want to take over here too!
