Diesel prices in your area?

Paid $2.11 a gallon for on road diesel for my semi truck at Flying J in LaSalle, IL Thursday afternoon, mostly due to preferred customer discounts.

Diesel is about $3.05 and regular gas is $2.95 here in Pittsburgh. We can get off road diesel from a pump for about $2.50.

Relative at dinner last night was saying with fracking and the Chinese economy dipping we might see prices < $2/gallon by winter, for diesel.

That sure would be nice, I hope they are right.

In the news today they say fuel prices will begin to spike, as soon as next week.

I paid $2.35 for off road and $3.19 for pure gas 93 octane. Fortunately I use very little of the pure gas since I sold the boat. Just a push mower and wood chipper.

Really no need for fuel prices to be this high. Plenty of oil on the market. Fuel should be half what it is now. In time the glut of oil will force prices down.
