Paid $1.36 a gallon for on road diesel in Lake Station, IN at Flying J yesterday for my semi truck. Yes, that was including the IFTA fuel tax. It did reflect a commercial discount though.

Since it looks like STATE fuel tax on diesel ranges between 8 cents (AK) and 54.5 cents (!CT) us/us gallon (perhaps plus local surcharges) and Federal tax is 24.4 cents/gallon it's getting so a fair amount of the cost is the the taxes. State Motor Fuels Tax Rates 2000-2011, 2013-2015
Heck, in CT the on road diesel is $0.79 for taxes alone, whether oil is $10 a barrel or $100 a barrel.

I was driving by our newest Walmart today and noticed they've come down to $1.459 for regular gas and $1.609 for diesel.

Yes you can ... today in Atoka Ok ... off road $1.359 ... and yet Pilot had diesel for $2.119 ... two towns 20 miles apart
