Just took delivery of a 5' Land Pride rake. It is a 3 pt. Thanks for all of the replies. It is a LR15 series and seems to be very well made. They have definetly gone up in price over the last few years with the cost of steel going up. I paid $625 (no guage wheels). As I remember they were about $450 a few years ago. Thanks again for all of the replies. I now have a pretty good idea of the difference between the two even though there was some difference of opinion.

The one question still unanswered-- It looks like to me agri supply sells Kodiak box blades and landscape rakes.

Sounds like a good choice, Gus. There are a number of other implements such as rotary cutters, hay rakes and tedders, harrows, etc. that are offered in both 3 pt and 1 pt (pull behind) configurations of equal duty rating. For everyone that prefers one, there is someone else who prefers the other.

Gus, you'll get good service from your LandPride unit. I have several of their attachments, some in service about 20 years. I'm suprised that no one just told you that for a "York" type rake, on a CUT the only attachment type that makes sense and is commonly used is a 3pt hitch.
