WRANGLER® RIGGS WORKWEAR® RIPSTOP RANGER CARGO SHORT

I’ll agree with no trespassing, I like the Riggs stuff, which is Wrangler I believe. I have Carhart also but they are a little bit shorter it seems.

I wear Wrangler or Rustler jeans, but Carhartt stuff is real high quality but expensive. I have a Carhartt winter jacket that I got at a yard sale that I've had for years and it was probably years old when I got it. It's my favorite winter coat. And I have a Carhartt hooded sweatshirt that I got on sale at TSC that is my favorite sweatshirt. Not only is Carhartt durable, but hay doesn't stick to Carhartt shirts, sweatshirts and jackets. That's important when you have a farm.

Wrangler Riggs are my go to pants. Both the 5-pocket jeans and the ripstop cargo style. Tougher than anything else I've found, but around $40/pair.

In Michigan City, IN, there's an outlet mall that has a Lee/Wrangler clearance center. I can get Riggs pants for under $20 there. (y)

Also, Rural King sometimes has them on sale for under $30.

Up north we would often wear coveralls over jeans, but too hot to do that in Texas. I don't mind spending more on one good pair of coveralls, but not for multiple pairs of jeans.

I've been wearing Riggs for about 4 years now at my job. 2 pairs last me about 1 year before either a belt loop breaks, or the cuffs fray out. So, 5 days a week and about 49 weeks per year. So about 122 days of use before they become my painting jeans. ;)

Wranglers are now dress jeans. Don’t have enough pockets to qualify as work wear anymore.

Dickies carpenter Duck pants. Or, Northern Tool Gravel Gear carpenter pants. They have an extra pocket on the left leg below the loop. All cotton duck, no more denim.

Its been a long time since I tried a pair or Wrangler jeans.. decades actually. I have several pairs of Carhartts. They hold up really well and my go to ones are fleece lined in the winter. I have a couple pairs of carpenter style ones that are not lined that I wear in the warmer months. My only complaint is that they are stiff until about 30 washings. These days I'm looking for a more light weight so I option, so I did get a couple pairs of Wrangler carpenter pants..they are more of a heavy nylon structure and not jean material. I wear them a couple times a week and they have held up well, no complaints thus far. I believe they were 40.00 +/-

Not sure what you're getting at. My Wranglers have the same number of pockets as they did when I was a kid.
