in looking at a lot full of tractors, sometimes you can't get a sense of scale with all that orange machinery around. go to the website and print out specs for the models you're looking at in L & M as well. including fel capacity I learned the expensive way starting w/ L trading back till I got the right one in M series). My lesson was that it's not just about HP.....the M series is more robust in about every way: frame size, construction, weight, tire size, etc. that all have a bearing on performance in addition to straight HP...but the B, L, & M models fit perfectly in the niches for which they are designed..If you had hoped for a mid mount, maybe look smaller than M..rule of thumb? study your needs (furute too) choose a model, then go one size up. you won't be sorry bb
