Differential Lock

Found something very similar listed under MF 165 cast iron axle. The actuating lever/pedal is a bit different but the theory and operation is the same.

I have a mid-1980's MF250. It has the same axle lock. Pedal on the right engages and, if working properly, it should disengage easily. Mine does not so I leave it alone.

The MF3165 is the industrial version of the MF165. That cast axle is the same one your tractor has and those pictures are of the differential lock.

That looks VERY similar to the diff-lock on my MF250. It appears the pedal is missing.

Hi,
Brand new to the list and also to what I believe to be a MF 3165. But I am puzzled. While waiting for my manuals to arrive I am learning everything I can from the material on the net. One thing I know I need to find is the differential lock lever and pedal. From all the sites I have searched I cannot find one that shows the parts that are on my tractor. I have attached three pictures in hopes that someone here could advise. Do I not have a 3165?

It seems to me that what you have is the same differential lock than I have on my Massey Ferguson MF 40. Do you have anyinfo on this or a manual or info on how to adjust?
