I emailed digmaster and asked about a DM200 operators manual, and they sent me one!
I looked thru all 120+ pages.

They DO talk about the various filters in the DM200, with photos. An inline filter for the pilot controls is shown, but does not tell where it is. I suspect inside one of the covers near one of the joysticks.

The procedure to adjust the main system RV is bizarre, and without any pressure spec I can find. No mention of the pilot RV location and setting. No hydraulic circuit schematic diagram. No electrical diagram either.

Actually it is just below the rear engine compartment door on the right side. You can see the Hydraulic oil cooler on the extreme left in front of the radiator and the return line exiting out the bottom and running next to the rear bulkhead to the filter canister on the right and then up to the top of the Hydraulic oil tank.
Oh you are talking about the "Pilot Filter". I don't know where that is.
The manual is short on specs, not a very comprehensive manual. Seems very generic.

I did find this website that seems to have stuff for this mini digger, fuel, oil and hydraulic oil filters.

If any one locates the hydraulic filters, let me know where they are located at. I went down to my building and was trying to locate them. The way I am reading the book there should be 3 of them. The picture on page 125 of the manual is different than mine. I know there is a screen filter in the tank which I didn't see mentioned.. I see where ones appears to be on the right side that goes on the return line to the tank, looks like some kind of valve . Looks like they are showing a cartage, filter a canister and pilot filter. I removed the floor board where the control sticks are and did not see a pilot filter. Also does any one know where you can get touch up paint?

I just became the proud owner of a DM200. Won at RB auction this AM. Would love some pointers on preventative maintenance/fixes I should do to help it last.

I just picked mine up from FastBid in Pismo. Great machine. I'll let you know what I get figured out.

I just got a message from a fellow in Mexico who owns one and he said there are no hyd. filters on it, that you have to add one. Can any one confirm if they do or not have a filter on it.

So is there a filter inside that?. Must be a cartidge filter. I assume you take the four bolts out of the right end. Do you think another filter should be added. Seems strange that the China cant give you the right book for it That is the only thing in the hydraulic circuit that even looks like a filter.

Typical, the manuals never keep up with product changes. I emailed digmaster and asked them about purchasing filters, no reply yet.

Digmaster replied and said we can order filters directly from them and they will ship them to you.
email them at digmastermachinery@outlook.com

They quoted me $300 for an air filter, hydraulic oil filter and pilot filter. Shipped international air.

There is just a new up date on the DM200. Some fellow just made a U tube veido on it. I now understand where the filter is located and how to open it up. Still no one has posted where the pilot control filter is located at or if it even has one.

I went to look at that. I was hoping to see that he had opened up the main hydraulic filter so we could see the element.

I like that the maker has gone to conventionally retained pins. I looked up the Parker pump, but did not find a 510 type (PGP51063GLP).

The 2-cylinder 479cc Kubotas are good engines, but I hope they are powerful enough for this application. They are about 8hp or so in the 2000-2500RPM range.

Any one know where the hydraulic drain plug is located at? It warmed up today did a few things on it. Got my 12" bucket on it. Works fine, will have to get a couple spacers between the ears. A lot heavier. Took it and transplanted a small bush. The main thing i am going to have to do is change the control to the JD pattern. no way can I use it like it is. Any one know how that reset switch works on your instruments and I see that it doesn't show my RPM.

John - can't help on the instrument reset but the Hyd tank should have a plug on the bottom - if you remove the side cover then swing the machine so the tank is between the rear tracks you should see the drain.

To change it to BH or JD controls, you need to swap the boom and dipper stick lines. Was easy on my Hightop as the boom cylinder is on the back so it was just a swap of lines.
Boom # 3 & 6 hoses and Dipper # 4 & 5 Hoses.jpg
. Yours is in the front so you will need to change at the valve body - which from that video appear to be easy to access and are labeled.

John, If you look at that video, he shows you where the drain plug is.
