Does anyone have any clear pictures or a manual for what I think is an overland dirt pan? I want to try to understand how the cable originally worked to open the “mouth” of the bowl to let dirt in. There’s a pulley on the tongue. And I also have a triangle shaped piece. Just not sure how it all went together. I assume that the cable had to attach to the tractor some how and the more you lower it, the more the door opens to let material in.

I do not know what this "triangle shaped piece is". The scraper tongue attaches to a lift arm drawbar like this .

A wire cable is run over the pulley and attached to the tractor's drawbar.

When the 3pt is lifted slightly it will lift the tongue of the scraper causing it to make contact with the door. Once you get to where you want to dump, you raise the 3pt all the way up and it will lift the door tilt the bowl and dump the load. Atleast this is how I remember them working. There are different variations so some are setup differently.

Should be easy to put hydraulics on that thing.
The ripper teeth look like a machine that would work.
