I was very interested in Tony's CK30 until I tried contacting the last remaining reputable Kioti dealer in the Kansas City area. They have dropped Kioti and only sell Mahindra. There used to be about four Kioti dealers in my area, now the only one has a one stall maintenance area, no showroom and no parts stock. He also changes brands about every year.

The only stable dealers here seem to be JD, NH, Case and Kubota. Everything else seems to come and go with the wind.

It appears that getting a Kioti is now out of the question for me. Is this happening in other parts of the midwest, or just in my town?

The dealer I looked into last year has also changed brands. I think they (Kioti) have been trying to weed out some "bad" dealers. My area lost one "troubled" dealer, but another came along and I've read wonderful things about them. They sound like they are in it for the long haul.
Once the right people pick up the line in your area, I can't imagine they will go away to soon. In many ways the dealer is as important as the tractor you purchased.

The Kioti dealer in this area seems to be going strong. He has a complete lineup of new tractors from the small to big, an impressive parts department and shop, and advertises heavily in the local papers promoting the Kioti name.

The idea that Kioti is weeding out weak dealers around the country appeals to me. However, if that was true, in Kansas City they sure pulled up the flower and left the weed! Also, the Kioti site still shows the dealer that no longer carries the brand. My understanding is that the large dealer dropped Kioti, not the other way around.

This left me with a dealer who has virtually no facility, only one Kioti in stock, and who tried to sell me some no name chinese tractor because, "He couldn't get any more Kioti tractors this year." The guy has been a "dealer" for Landini, Hurlimann, Same, FarmPro, FarmTrac, etc., etc., over the last 10 years. He now sells none of those lines. Would buy your Kioti there?

I really wanted to get a CK30HST with a loader and BH to compliment my 25 year old Kubota, that I use to mow with. However, as I said in my initial post, no dealer = no deal.

I am a dealer down in Columbus, KS (100 Miles south of KC). We transferred all the equipment from the dealer you mention closed in KC. Kioti is signing on a new tractor dealer in that area. The one they canceled was more of a ZT mower dealer ,and we were getting alot of service working coming out of the KC area for Kioti Tractors they had sold in their area. Kioti did cancel them, they were not moving product and the product that I transferred was very aged.

Old Orange,

If you're only 100 miles from Depratt Equipment it would be in your best interest to check them out. Jon Depratt is top notch.

Iowachild---It is Hoover's in Mifflinburg, Pa. I did not buy my 45 from them, it came from Wallace Tractors near Lake Ariel.

Kioti Dealers are also disappearing in my area. Four years ago there was one 45 miles to my West (now out of business) and 45 miles East (still listed as a Kioti dealer but only cares about NH).

I wonder if that NH dealer is being forced to be only a NH dealer? NH is pushing this again. IF you sell more than NH for tractors the NH Dealership must be a stand-alone one.
